Living in rural Washington,  I have seen first hand how the lack of dental care access can affect so many aspects of a child's life.  I am dedicated to giving every child the privilege of a healthy smile. Educating children about the importance of prevention is the key to making a positive influence on today's kids and the kid's of tomorrow.
 
 I have 3 children of my own , a foster child and a wonderful husband!

In the 15 years of my dental hygiene career, I have had the opportunity to work in private practice both locally and abroad and have been able to participate in volunteer work overseas.   Seeing first hand how lack of dental care and dental education affects the overall health and well being of a child, I truly believe in school based preventative dental care programs.  Children’s dental health is so important and having early, positive experiences with dental care can really help a child through out their life.

I have been a dental assistant for the last 13 years, 7 of them working with school based sealant programs,  and the last 2 years working for Dream Team Dental.  I come from a family of public school educators, and I am married to a teacher.  I see the need for dental programs in the schools.  Some of the children that we see have never had the opportunity to see a dentist.  It is fulfilling to know that we are really making a difference in the lives of these children and their families.

I am the program coordinator for Dream Team Dental. I came to this job after being a stay at home mom and a neighborhood association and school volunteer for the past 17 years.  I have a degree in bookkeeping and various experiences in many aspects of the working world.  I love being a small part of making a big difference in the lives of children.  Everyone deserves a healthy smile and Dream Team Dental is making that happen, one kid at a time.
